About Us

Elite Belts is the brainchild of Calgary’s Cathy Meheden who, along with her husband Tom, has raced across both Western Canada and the United States in the Pro Mod class for over two decades. After numerous personal dealings with various US safety suppliers, in 2013 Cathy decided we needed a quality custom safety manufacturer in Canada. She was coached by one of the best and found a US aircraft supplier offering top-end hardware. What started out as a hobby, has exploded into a full-time business. Elite Belts is not a distributor. All products are designed and manufactured on-site by Cathy and Tom and sold directly to the end-user. They are proud to be affiliated with many of the top-notch race fabrication shops in Western Canada as well as all their individual clients. Every product is a one-off built to the highest standards for quality and fit.
